Lead from
the inside out.

Executive coaching for first-time executives, partners, and founders — and for the organizations investing in them.

Let's talk
Approach

New leadership asks something strange of us: to perform a version of ourselves we haven't fully grown into yet. The goal is to close that gap, until the role stops feeling like something you're managing and starts feeling like somewhere you operate with confidence.

Stepping back from execution to set direction and building a vision others want to follow. Shifting focus from the work itself to the conditions that make great work possible. Saying the hard thing clearly, without softening it into ambiguity. Moving through conflict in a way that strengthens relationships and leads to better decisions. Inviting in other perspectives as data, not referendums. Trusting your read before checking if anyone agrees. Building credibility as you go.

Coaching is a learning and change process. Through structured reflection, small experiments, and focused skill building, what starts as deliberate practice becomes second nature. You stop trying to lead and start simply leading.

Who This Is For

I work with talented doers making their first move into true leadership. Across industries and levels of experience, the challenges at this moment are remarkably consistent.

People in demanding, consequential roles who are taking on real leadership responsibility for the first time, and negotiating what that means in practice. How they handle conflict. How they get the best out of their teams. How they build and upgrade relationships with colleagues, senior leaders, clients, and partners. How they show up when the stakes are high and the answers aren't obvious.

For those who got here by being the most independently rigorous person in the room, leading others can feel like an uncomfortable compromise; like you're giving something up while also gaining something bigger. In some ways, you are. The work is learning to make that tradeoff deliberately, and without losing the core of what makes you great.

My clients are smart, accomplished, and motivated, and looking for a partner to help them step into leadership with gravitas and confidence.

My clients come from Big Tech · Law · Financial Services · Education · VC & PE-Backed

Organizations can bring this work in-house. If you're building a leadership development program, onboarding a cohort of new partners or MDs, or investing in a high-potential leader at a critical moment, I work directly with talent and HR teams to design and deliver coaching engagements that fit your people and your culture.

Work With Me

1:1 Executive Coaching

Monthly retainer

Ongoing confidential coaching relationship for leaders navigating a consequential step up. We meet regularly and go where the struggle lives: areas like how you make decisions, how you hold authority, how you navigate conflict and get the most out of your teams.

Leadership Intensive

Short-term sprint

A focused few weeks built around something specific: a new team, a fundraise, a transition you need to move through with more steadiness than you currently have.

Organizational Work

Teams & companies

For organizations developing leaders from within. This brings the same coaching approach to firms investing in their people, typically structured as individual coaching engagements for a cohort, workshop intensives, or a combination of both. Common contexts include partner or MD transitions, high-potential development programs, and leadership onboarding.

About
Isabel Canter
Isabel Canter
Executive Coach & Founder

Leadership has always been my greatest curiosity.

I've spent my career studying and living the question of what makes a great leader. Across operating and advisory roles at LinkedIn, Lemonade, ALT, and Jefferies, I worked alongside leaders navigating high-pressure decisions, rapid growth, and industry-defining moments. What I kept coming back to wasn't strategy or execution. It was the people doing it — their behaviors, their strengths, and what might become possible for them if they were well supported to grow.

That fascination became a practice. I founded C3 Growth Partners to work directly with leaders at pivotal moments, bringing together operational experience and research-based coaching to work on the specific shifts that change how someone leads.
